Template Repo was created by long-term Rapidweaver user, and often outspoken commentator, Steve.
Steve started with Rapidweaver in its early days, before even Stacks came along.
He started out working with Rapidweaver theme made by Will Woodgate from the ThemeFlood Rapidweaver theme store. But after a while felt hindered by the restrictions themes placed on the user.
Then along came Stacks and it was a game-changer.
Instead of having to work within the rigid structure of a theme, Rapidweaver users could effectively start with a blank canvas (blank theme) and build any website they wanted via the growing list of stacks that rapidly came to the Rapidweaver marketplace.
Once Stacks for Rapidweaver was established and the use of blank themes became popular it was only a matter of time before a savvy Rapidweaver developer spotted a niche in the marketplace.
That developer was Joe Workman. who with the launch of Foundation For Rapidweaver; the (almost) first freeform suite, or "framework" as they are now known, didn't just change the Rapidweaver game, but the entire landscape!
Rapidweaver, Stacks and Foundation finally bought to the table a full-blown pro-level website development toolbox, requiring zero coding skills to produce awesome websites.
Since those early days the Rapidweaver community has gone from strength to strength, with new stacks being released weekly by an ever-growing pool of talented independent developers, and as of 2022 a whole host of Rapidweaver frameworks, including...
